Bolivia, Colombia against neoliberalism, support the Great Homeland

La Paz, Aug 1 (Prensa Latina) Former Bolivian President Evo Morales on Monday welcomed the Colombian elected Vice President Francia Márquez in a meeting were both leaders made clear the common position of the two nations in the fight for the Great Homeland.

Nice two-hour meeting with our sister Francia Marquez. We shared experiences regarding the long struggle for the rights of the poorest and those excluded from neoliberal policies, Evo Morales tweeted.

Morales also stressed the need to walk together towards unity and brotherhood of the Great Homeland in immediate future.

During the Evo Morales administration, analysts recalled, Colombia-Bolivia relations were marked by significant ups and downs, until reaching a breaking point after Iván Duque´s assumption in 2018.

Hours earlier, Márquez also met with Bolivia’s top leaders, current President Luis Arce and Vice President David Choquehuanca.

Colombia is a world power of life, for nice living. It´s a program that we´re preparing to build hand in hand with the people, Márquez claimed.
