World Twitter action and caravans to eliminate blockade against Cuba

Havana, Jul 31 (Prensa Latina) The Bridges of Love solidarity project, directed by Cuban-American professor Carlos Lazo, is convening on Sunday a world message action through Twitter aimed at US President Joe Biden.

On the Twitter profile @Puentesdeamor1, users will demand, as of 10:00 hours, local time, the elimination of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US Government on the Cuban people more than 60 years ago.

With the hashtags #PuentesDeAmor, #EliminaElBloqueo, #UnBlockCuba, Internet users will demand that the current US president fulfills his electoral promises, removes Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, and lifts the sanctions that fall on the Cuban people, Carlos Lazo told Prensa Latina via WhatsApp.

Also in cities globally, included New York, Miami and Los Angeles, caravans will be held to demand the unilateral policy that limits the development of human rights of the Cubans.

“With grain to grain, we will demolish hatred and build bridges of love,” the professor added.
