At the meeting, Morales presented PCC´s major political processes and explained the Cuban people´s main challenges in face of the tightening of the US blockade and the global crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

A press release from PCC specified that Morales highlighted Cuba’s progress in confronting Covid-19, in particular vaccine development, and also thanked TKP´s solidarity support for Cuba in its struggle against US blockade.

Kemal Ibrahim Okuyan expressed his support for the Cuban Revolution, the will to strengthen historic relations that unite both nations and their respective youth organizations.
