Biden’s position once again confirms the falsity of his alleged rejection of the expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied territories, the PFLP said in a statement.
It criticized the recent approval by the Israeli authorities of further expansion of the settlements, pointing out that they are aimed at “devouring more Palestinian land”.
For the party, the Israeli plan is to attack the Palestinian identity and presence in the region, strengthen colonization and Judaize Jerusalem.
Faced with this scenario, the PFLP called for continued resistance, especially armed struggle against the occupation.
“We must draw lessons and put an end to the “absurd negotiations and American solutions that were and continue to be at the service of Israeli interests,” it stressed.
According to various sources, more than 490,000 Jewish settlers live in the West Bank and another 200,000 in East Jerusalem, despite the calls of the UN, which considers them part of the future Palestinian state along with the Gaza Strip.
