In a statement, the French association considered the heroic deed that founded the Cuban Revolution took place in Cuba on July 26, 1953, with the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks.
Today is a day in which the Cuban people reaffirm its commitment to the Revolution and its work, the French association -founded in 1998 to foster the French-Cuban rapprochement- said.
Cuba represents a beacon and compass for the peoples globally, and carries out new fights every single day in face of the nonstop hostility by the United States which does not tolerate that Cuba follows its chosen pathway and resists imperialist aggressions, it added.
Cuba Linda condemned the economic, commercial and financial US blockade against Cuba and stressed this hostile measure has not prevented from reaching achievements in different sectors including education, health, culture, sports and the scientific research.
