For the electrical engineer trained at the “Marta Abreu” University in Las Villas, in central Cuba, the Cuban Revolution represents the best and strategic friend in the defense of the Palestinian cause and the Third World peoples.

In an interview to Prensa Latina, El Khatib reaffirmed his solidarity with Cuba in face of the tightening of the blockade imposed by the United States, while laying stress on his denunciation in different activities and political mobilizations.

From 1979 to 1985, the Palestinian friend knew closely the reality of the Cuban people and proudly preserves from his student days the kindness, companionship and disinterest of the entire Caribbean nation.

El Khatib strongly rejected the US maneuvers and interference in its attempt to make the Cuban revolution´s experience and example fail.

With more than three decades, the League of Palestinian Graduates reaffirms its commitment to the Cuban Rebellion Day in the defense of its sovereignty and independence.
