The embassy specified in the face of Washington’s statements about Russia’s intentions to “annex Ukrainian territories”, that currently all of Russia is uniting to help the affected settlements, including federal and regional authorities, social organizations, as well as all concerned citizens.
Infrastructure, housing and social facilities are also being actively restored, and thousands of specialists are participating in the works, as per the statement.
It also argued that the construction of about 500 km of roads and bridges in Donbass is planned to take place by the end of this year, while 12 modern buildings and a high-tech medical center are being built in Mariupol, and are expected to come into operation in autumn.
“The supply of humanitarian aid has not stopped. To date, more than 45,000 tons of essential items and supplies have been sent to Ukraine and the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.”
Regarding insinuations from the White House, the embassy questioned what do all of the actions deployed by Moscow towards the liberated territories have to do with the concept of “annexation”, and assured that “they are one more confirmation of Washington’s desire to extend the conflict as long as possible.”
Russia “will continue to work vigorously to establish a peaceful life in the liberated territories and to fulfill all the objectives of the special military operation,” it stated.
