The possible administration should work to solve the nation’s problems, included the organization of elections, economist Fritz Jean, elected by the signatories of the Montana Agreement to lead an interim executive, said.
The Montana Agreement was signed by hundreds of socio-political organizations and proposes a transition of at least two years to rebuild the state institutions.
Jean criticized Prime Minister Ariel Henry for his alleged indifference to the pain of the population, especially after the gang war to control Cite Soleil in Port-au-Prince, in which more than 300 people were injured so far, according to human rights platforms.
He also called on the National Police to do its job with determination and at all levels to bring peace to the territory.
