Culture at the feet of Cuban infants to celebrate their day

Havana, Jul 17 (Prensa Latina) Cuban culture today reveres the joy and innocence of childhood with a program of activities, throughout the country, that combines various artistic manifestations and social projects aimed at young audiences.

The Casa del Alba, in this capital, hosts the play A Dwarf Prince Party, which combines the talent of members of the community initiative of the Union of Writers and Artists of the island: Patio Art, together with the clowns Jacqui and Dimas and the children’s dance group Reflexes.

For its part, the Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso, joins the celebrations for the National Day of Girls and Boys with the show Cuentijugando, jueguicontando, which under the direction of Rosa Irene del Pino articulates entertainment, with dances, songs , riddles and stories, according to the institution.

The agenda of actions for the day also proposes the staging of the piece The surprise of the chest, by the Teatro La Proa group, in coordination with the Cuban Center of the International Union of the Puppet and the revival of Adventure with the television, while taking the play Aires de Fiesta to the province of Matanzas.

Likewise, the Retablo company will commemorate the date, chosen by the pioneers in July, 1974, with a revelry that will cover the island from east to west, in which the performances will be marked by dramatic pieces and shows inspired by the best of national children’s literature.

We will unite art and recreation in a single proposal with the collaboration of puppet groups from Santiago de Cuba, Las Tunas, Sancti Spíritus, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos, Matanzas, Havana, Artemisa and Pinar del Río, as well as the Puppet Theater and Museum El Arca will host the personal exhibition Our Muses, by the fine artist Gabriela Brito Berland, the text points out.

To these recreational options that will bring joy to the most remote communities of the Caribbean country, the little ones will also have parks and recreational centers of the largest of the Antilles, which will display a day of activities, games, musical shows and raffles, as a gift to “those who know how to love.”
