During a meeting, the legislators stressed the urgency of reinvigorating efforts in the formation of the cabinet to provide a climate of calm to the Lebanese and stimulate constructive dialogue towards the holding of presidential elections on time and without delay.

The deputies called on the relevant authorities to strictly prosecute exploiters and smugglers who practice fraudulent enrichment as a result of their control during the crisis of materials and basic items.

The bloc blamed the acting government for the delay in the procedures and offers that affect the public sector and all its employees, which have been on open strike for more than three weeks.

“Loyalty to the Resistance” also called for speeding up steps and using all available options and methods to confirm Lebanon’s right to preserve its territorial waters, as well as strengthen the capability of investing in oil or gas exploitation.

The Organization of Revolutionary Socialists, on its part, also called for the conclusion of the process of appointing the new Lebanese Council of Ministers that offers a response to the people in the context of the worst economic, financial, monetary and social crisis.

The movement stressed the importance of strengthening the resistance community at the stage of confronting Israel’s ambitions in the dispute around the southern border.
