Granma saves Cuban honor at Haarlem Baseball Week

Haarlem, Netherlands, Jul 14 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban team from Granma saved the honor today by beating Italy 5-1 at the Baseball Week in Haarlem, Netherlands, and finally finishing in fifth place in the competition.

The Cuban offensive managed to string together three runs in the upper part of the fourth episode and another two in the fifth, enough to support the good work of Yuen Socarrás, who completed 6.1 innings with three walks, eight strikeouts and only six hits allowed.
