The former White House National Security Adviser John Bolton´s admission to having “helped to plan coups,” (Donald) Trump’s immediate recognition of the de facto government, and Republican senators’ defense of coup plotters prove the United States promoted the 2019 coup in Bolivia.

On Twitter, Evo Morales asked congressmen Jan Schakowsky and Susan Wild -along with other US lawmakers promoted the investigation into Luis Almagro’s involvement in the coup- to expand the case with Bolton’s confession.

It is proven that the false accusation of “fraud” was to conduct massacres, Morales stressed.

After winning the 2019 elections, Evo Morales suffered a coup orchestrated by high-ranking officers of the Bolivian Army and Police, in conjunction with extreme right-wing groups.

Subsequent probes revealed the false report from the Organization of American States (OAS), led by Almagro, which claimed, without real basis, that the Bolivian elections had been rigged by Morales.
