On Twitter, Faría informed about a meeting held with Brian Glynn, Managing Director for the Americas in the European External Action Service (EEAS), with the purpose of strengthening relations with the EU, based on peace diplomacy and mutual respect.
“We express our interest in strengthening cooperation in energy, environment, health, among other issues, as well as cooperation among regional blocs,” the Venezuelan Foreign Minister stressed.
The Venezuelan Government has repeatedly reiterated its willingness to keep political talks with the EU, always based on respect for sovereignty and self-determination principles.
