According to diplomatic sources, such aspects were addressed during a meeting between the Minister of Energy of this African country, Mónica Juma, and the Cuban ambassador here, Juan Manuel Rodríguez.
On the occasion, Juma expressed interest in having the experience and knowledge of Cuban experts in the solar energy and biomass sectors.
At his turn, the diplomat thanked the Kenyan minister for showing solidarity towards Cuba.
He appreciated that the official repeatedly expressed her strong support for the just cause waged by the Cuban people and government to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed for more than 60 years by the United States government.
The dialogue took place a few days after Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez toured Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Algeria and Ethiopia (in transit).
Such a journey ratified the historical ties of solidarity that unite Cuba and the African continent.
