Morales, verified in Placetas municipality, in central Villa Clara province, that a productive area belonging to the “Benito Juarez” agricultural company offers employment and housing to more than twenty young people.

The party leader called for the country’s development to continue with the support of young people, who express their commitment to fulfilling their main mission: to produce food, a way to be useful to Cuba and contribute to its sustainability and development.

“We have to build houses in the countryside, revitalize life in these areas and turn them into pleasant and picturesque places,” the member of the PCC Political Bureau noted.

The contingent, named “Jovenes Guerrilleros” (Young Guerrillas), will produce here and will reside in the area, with the impulse of all 63 measures to revitalize agriculture, and it is working on more than 1,000 hectares of idle land bordering the National Highway in Placetas.

“I fell in love with the land because, first of all, my parents, my brothers, are linked to agricultural production,” the leader of the contingent, Yanier Negrin, said recently.

He pointed out that since he was 16 years old he has devoted himself to raising pigs, and requested some 3,716 square meters of land that were totally idle and at this time they are already clean and ready for agricultural production.
