The Foreign Ministry issued a statement denouncing the death of Rafiq Riyad Ghanam, 20, shot by an Israeli soldier this morning.
“This new crime is part of the series of daily murders against our people,” he said.
It also criticized the arrest of 44 citizens in various raids “following barbaric incursions into towns, villages and refugee camps.”
“These actions violate all signed agreements, the Geneva Convention and international principles relating to human rights,” it stressed.
The Foreign Ministry considered that these attacks are part of a plan to perpetuate the confiscation of land and try to break the will of the Palestinian people.
It also reiterated its rejection of “the continued demolition, confiscation and demolition of homes and facilities in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.”
