The Ukrainian forces deployed armored vehicles, high-caliber artillery and multiple rocket launchers in the ground of a school in the city of Seversk, in the DPR, and are holding civilian residents under the pretext of guaranteeing their safety, Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Management Center, explained.

Mizintsev added that in an educational facility in the town of Scherbinovka, also in Donetsk, Ukrainian nationalists set up regular and sniper positions and mined the accesses to the building without informing the locals.

According to Mizintsev, units of the Ukrainian Army and territorial defense also been deployed in a school in Odessa, where they have emplaced vehicles and artillery.

He also added that, on a street in Kharkov, fighters from the Ukrainian Territorial Defense have established firing positions in residential buildings and do not allow local residents to leave their flats, keeping them from evacuating to safe areas.

Mizintsev explained in addition that, according to the information obtained, neo-Nazi elements have mined the bridges over the Cryga River, in the city of Belopolie, in the province of Sumy.

Mízintsev also stressed that the Ukrainian side plans to demolish the bridges to accuse the Russian forces of launching “indiscriminate” attacks against crucial transportation infrastructure, and denounced that it is “a script already used and widely covered in the Ukrainian and Western media.
