Abortion was not one of the great concerns nationwide, but the US Supreme Court catapulted the issue as one of the Americans´ concerns.

On Monday, on the occasion of the 246th anniversary of the US Independence, President Joe Biden regretted his country had taken “steps backwards.” Although he did not refer directly to the abortion issue, Biden stated that in recent times some signs indicated how “this country is going backwards”, he said that “freedom has been reduced”, and that “apparently protected rights are no longer protected”.
