The political organization called for all national forces to unite around the resistance against Israeli-American aggression to defend the country’s natural resources.

The PDP welcomed the operation of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance last Saturday when it launched three unarmed drones towards the disputed area in the Karish countryside on reconnaissance missions.

The PDP issued a statement to Prensa Latina expressing that the response of Hezbollah (Party of God) to Israel’s aggression against Lebanon’s wealth confirmed the patriotism of the resistance and its willingness to protect the homeland.

The deputy Melhem Al-Hujairi considered that the message of the Party of God establishes the right of the Lebanese people to invest in its oil and gas wealth in the face of the ambitions of Israel and the United States.

Al-Hujairi lamented the positions of Lebanese officials, whose ambitions and narrow interests push them to present credentials to the US international mediator at the expense of the Lebanese national interest.

According to local reports, between Lebanon and Israel there is an area of about 860 square kilometers in dispute as it is rich in oil and gas, according to maps deposited by both countries before the United Nations.
