Argentine bodies reject US interference in Latin America

Buenos Aires, Jul 2 (Prensa Latina) Argentine social bodies will reaffirm their rejection of US interference in Latin America as well as the blockade imposed on Cuba for over 60 years.

According to the Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MasCuba, in Spanish) a provincial meeting will be held on Juy 30, in Cordoba.

Representatives from the Graphic Workers’ Union, Carlos Paz Integral Cooperative, Viales de Córdoba, Workers’ Confederation, Tupac Amaru Neighborhood Organization, Haitian Democratic Committee, Mil por Cuba and Más Democracia, among other groups, will attend the event.

As stated by Sergio Ortiz, MasCuba´s member, the impacts of the economic, commercial and financial US blockade imposed on Cuba will be also discussed.

Plus, attendees will condemn the US and NATO military troops in the Falklands and Neuquén.

Besides, participants will have the chance of praising Cuba’s internationalism with other nations, reflected in the literacy program Yo, si puedo (Yes, I Can), Miracle Operation, and the work conducted by the Henry Reeve medical brigade during the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the meeting, a tribute will be paid to Mario Alberto Díaz, MasCuba´s member who passed away in 2022.
