“We must demand our government to call on US President to end the hostile blockade imposed on Cuba,” according to a document published on the official website of the Peruvian Journalist Federation.
Such an approach means to act accordingly with the call from the international community, including Peru, which rejects the US blockade at UN and other multilateral bodies annually.
It is a duty to join efforts in defense of just cause of the Cuban Revolution and to join decisively and actively in the initiatives of continental and world solidarity, as well as to conduct concrete actions that contribute to ending the US blockade.
The document defines the US blockade as the broadest and longest system of unilateral coercive measures against any country in history and also major obstacle to Cuba’s economic development.
