Along with the police, the FSB also detected citizens involved in the formation of radical groups, which analyzed in their meetings the preparation of actions to seize power by force, the official document stresses.

Those involved in that violent action discussed the use of firearms and incendiary substances against police agents and the armed forces, their means of transportation and other infrastructure facilities in Volgograd, the document states.

According to the FSB, the detainees are being interrogated on charges of organizing an extremist formation, and they could be sentenced up to 10 years imprisonment.
