Meeting with the head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Beirut, Jorge León, Sweidan envisaged strengthening two-way commercial, economic and cultural relations with Cuba.

Sweidan invited León to pay a visit to the Bekaa region in order to learn about the history and natural beauty of this province.

León, on the other hand, described the meeting with former candidate Sweidan as positive, while expressing his deep satisfaction for the Lebanese people´s gratitude toward Cuba.
