At a ceremony held at the Cuban Embassy in Japan, Hiroshi Iwadare, joint representative of the solidarity group, received the ICAP’s seal from the head of that mission, Miguel Angel Ramirez.
Ramirez stressed that this award is granted exceptionally to those who around the world maintain an active work in defense of the Cuban Revolution and contribute to disseminate the political, social and econom
ic transformations of the Caribbean nation.
Iwadare also thanked the ICAP for the decoration granted and emphasized that they will continue the work of reporting on Cuban reality.
He praised the speeches made by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel at the Summit of the Americas in early June, and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez during the first meeting of the signatory countries of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
