Mari Machado described her meeting with Mustafa Sentop as worthwhile and friendly, to whom she delivered a message from Cuban counterpart Esteban Lazo, while strengthening bilateral relations and potentials for their development.

She added the Cuban delegation paid tribute to the Founding Father of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kencal Atatürk, while expressing her country´s interests in strengthening relations with Turkish government, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.

Likewise, the Cuban delegation held a heartfelt working meeting with the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which, expressed Mari Machado “will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening bilateral relations.”

Turkey-Cuba parliamentary relations include cooperation and support in multilateral organizations condemning the US blockade against the Cuban people.
