The articulated buses arrived at the Havana harbor and were received by authorities of the Havana General Directorate of Transportation in order to benefit the Mulgoba bus terminal.

The Belgian ambassador to Cuba, Jean Jacques Bastien, told the press this donation is an agreement as a result of a commitment between the Ministries of Culture of both countries to favor Cuba´s transport service.

He also stressed that Cuba-Belgium relations are quite favorable at the diplomatic, cultural and academic levels, in the latter Cuba is one of the world´s main nations Belgian universities collaborate to. “We hope this donation will help Havanians to be less affected by the transport limitations and problems,” he said.
