Through a communique, the Hamas leader will meet with the president of the Lebanese Republic, the acting prime minister and the head of Parliament, as well as senior officials and leaders of the Palestinian factions.
Haniyeh, in a second term as chairman of Hamas, will deliver the Palestinian resistance speech to the National Islamic Conference, in its 31st session based in this capital, on Saturday.
According to Al-Akhbar, the leader will hold a meeting with the leaderships of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah, and other leaders and prominent figures of the resistance.
Beirut has the largest number of refugees since 1948 and at present, more than 200,000 Palestinians live here in different host communities amid Lebanon’s worst economic and financial crisis in its modern era.
