He invited the progressivism of the region to think that it can be built around agriculture and agrarian reforms, agro-industrialization and the industry under new technologies.
He proposed a productive and non-extractivist Latin America that deeply analyzes knowledge to the highest spheres of human learning.
He pointed out that this implies moving towards a productive economy based on the respect for nature, leaving behind the exclusive dependence of the extractivist model and democratizing the use of clean energies.
“A Latin America together so it can shout to humanity that the time to change to be capable to live tasty has come,” Petro stressed in front of thousands of supporters at the Movistar Arena Coliseum in Bogota.
