In a message to the news agency, Lerner renewed his appreciation and respect for Prensa Latina’s work in the field of international information.

He added that in this sense, the news agency disseminates “the most important political, economic and social events from Cuba and in the different offices in the world.”

It is, he affirmed, “an indispensable task in the face of the embargo and boycott that affect the Cuban people.”
