Russia destroys warehouse keeping ammunition sent by NATO to Ukraine

Moscow, Jun 15 (Prensa Latina) Russian missiles destroyed a warehouse in the Lvov region where ammunition sent by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to Ukraine was kept, including the 155mm M777 howitzers, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.

According to the spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, the warehouse was destroyed by high-precision Kalibr missiles.

Konashenkov reported that the Aerospace Forces of Russia destroyed an enemy plane at the Voznesensk military airfield in the Nikolayev region. Also, the Russian aviation eliminated an electronic warfare station and four M777 howitzers in the last 24 hours.

Eleven Ukrainian field artillery pieces, three BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 18 special vehicles and three mortar teams were hit and destroyed by air strikes.

Twenty-four concentration zones for enemy troops and war matériel were also destroyed by the Russian aviation, killing over 300 combatants and destroying 10 tanks and other armored vehicles.

Missile and artillery strikes hit over 300 staging areas of Ukarinian troops and war matériel and 43 checkpoints, as well as 62 artillery firing positions.

Air defense systems shot down a Su-25 aircraft near the Donetsk People’s Republic. They also intercepted 12 shells from the Uragan multiple launch system in the Donetsk city areas and in localities of the Lugansk People’s Republic.
