This Tuesday, Rodolfo Hernandez, a controversial presidential candidate of the League of Anti-Corruption Rulers, who has been campaigning to attract followers on social media, had to rectify several errors on Twitter due to repeated mistakes.
Accusations of corruption and violation of rules also continued to emerge because the candidate repeatedly made known that since the process of collecting signatures and in the different stages of his candidacy, he used his own resources.
On the other hand, Gustavo Petro, a candidate of the Historical Pact, on Tuesday evening addressed all Colombians to express his gratitude for the support and trust deposited in his political bet for change and in his Government program.
Petro assured that he will govern for all Colombia, for the youth, women, men and senior citizens, regardless of ideologies, race, color or creed, and with absolute respect for the Constitution, the laws and the separation of powers.
“I will govern from love, and not from hate,” Petro stressed and recalled five guarantees presented to the country that will be his beacon if he becomes a president.
Among them he pointed out that he will not seek reelection, he will not become a president to seek personal revenge or benefit; his Government will work tirelessly to overcome the economic and social crisis; he will respect the laws and the Constitution, and his Government will be one of a frontal fight against corruption.
