“Amid difficult circumstances, Prensa Latina has remained standing, like the Cuban Revolution itself, fighting on the front line in the field of news information,” Gadea, who is also a member of the Steering Committee of Marka magazine, said.
After defining himself as a militant and a close witness of the revolutionary struggles of the peoples, he recalled the founding of Prensa Latina, on June 16, 1959, a time in which he lived in Cuba.
The political analyst added that Prensa Latina emerged when the Cuban Revolution was taking its first steps to disclose the progress of the Revolution and the liberating struggles of all peoples globally”, he added.
He also congratulated those he called colleagues from Prensa Latina, “for their consistent commitment to the truth and to the Revolution.”
