This event’s edition put a fundamental focus on the search for ways to replace imports, increase exports, boost foreign investment and meet the needs of the population from productive linkages.

The economic recovery after two years of pandemic, the challenges related to the territorial development and the work done by the new economic actors in their relationship with other forms of production were other issues that focused their analysis.

Organized by the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, the event also included meetings with the ministers of Agriculture, Construction, Food Industry and Industry and workshops with other economic authorities in the country.

The closing ceremony today will allow to establish some conclusions of these debates and recognize the relevant results and the social impact of economic actors with the presentation of the Economic-Productive Management Award granted by ANEC every year.

The Conference contributes to articulate the several actors and implement development strategies at all levels, while contributing to the economic transformation the country is undergoing, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Planning, Leticia Morales, said.
