During his official visit to Iran, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his counterpart Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi ratified the willingness to enhance the bilateral cooperation relations in several areas of strategic interest.
Following an extended meeting between high-level government delegations, the two leaders on Saturday signed several exchange agreements in key sectors such as energy, transportation, tourism and agriculture.
The Venezuelan president highlighted the decision to activate the direct flights between Caracas and Tehran on June 18, in order to promote the development of tourism, trade and cultural exchange between the two countries.
