According to Minister of Industry, Development and Commerce Jose de Jesus Bermudez, the economic indicators of this Central American nation are going very well, despite the crisis, the Informe Pastran newsletter published.
Bermudez alluded to the so-called imported inflation due to the high oil prices and pointed out that Nicaragua is managing an inflation rate of 4.05 percent, which is quite low compared to what is currently happening globally.
He also mentioned the country’s export levels, which exceed 1.8 billion dollars, a figure higher than that registered in the period from January to May 2021.
The government official also highlighted the National Plan to Fight Poverty 2022-2026 and the one related to Production, Consumption and Trade.
