The intense rains that hit the west and center of the island in recent days left four dead and significant damage mainly to electrical infrastructure, agriculture and housing.

The capital was one of the territories most affected by the hydrometeorological conditions, which caused 111 landslides, two of them total, 4,522 individuals had to be evacuated, and 3,970 self-evacuated at the homes of relatives and friends, due to the flooding of 23 zones.
