“Congratulations to my Army General in his 91st birthday. Thank you for the teachings, the example, the confidence and the optimism. With you at the forefront, a certainty always emerges: “Yes, it can be done,”” the president tweeted.
Similar messages from Vice President Salvador Mesa, and from the deputies of the National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP) were also sent on the social network.
Away from public office, but not removed from social events, the Army General recently attended the ANPP sessions, held a meeting with the president of Mexico and participated in the International Workers’ Day parade along with thousands of people.
