According to Cubacine, the Chinese Film Week will take place from September 21 to 25, with an agenda of screenings in the process of preparation, which will take place at the Multicine Infanta, in this capital.
In addition to the governing institution of cinematography in the Caribbean country, the initiative is supported by the House of Chinese Art and Traditions and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, ICAIC’s director of programming, Lilian Morales, explained at a press conference.
The year of festivities will start on June 3 in Havana’s Chinatown, with a schedule of conferences, martial arts exhibitions, tributes, meetings with the population, a trade fair and an unprecedented film show.
In this way, the cycle will open the doors to a permanent exhibition in Cuba, while promoting cultural exchange with samples of Cuban cinema in the Asian country.
