The event is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the city of Riobamba, venue of the event, and the Association of Ecuadorian Municipalities (AME).
The fair consists of 26 stands and 13 relevant thematic forums to motivate the implementation of efficient mechanisms to promote the economic and social revival of the country, in the post-Covid-19 stage.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the event is a space in which projects will be presented with a decentralized vision of international cooperation, which is executed through the articulation of the different actors in the territories. Commenting about the issue, Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Holguin said, “We feel as our own the local interest to continue promoting cooperation towards productive, inclusive and strategic activities that allow increasing the access of the population, as a whole, to a living standard.”
Among participants in this Fair are the Decentralized Autonomous Governments, official international cooperation agencies, the embassies of the countries accredited in Ecuador, foreign and local non-governmental organizations, and academic and civil society groups.
