Diaz-Canel expressed the gratitude of the people, the government, and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba for the condolences of the President of State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Diaz-Canel affirmed in the letter that the solidarity of the DPRK encourages the Cubans in their efforts to overcome the tragic event.

Similarly, the Cuban president added that these links between the two countries demonstrate the strength of the historical ties of friendship and cooperation.

“Receive the testimony of my highest consideration and esteem,” the letter from Diaz-Canel ends.
