According to the daily report from MINSAP, all molecular biology laboratories in Cuba made 3,238 PCR tests in real time on Monday to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Of 176 active cases reported nationwide, 173 are clinically stable, while three persons remain in intensive care units.

At a press briefing on television, MINSAP added that 45 patients were discharged after recovering from the disease, so the total number of recovered patients rose to 1,096,555. So far, Cuba has accumulated 1,105,319 contagions since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.

The death toll remains at 8,529, according to MINSAP.
