On social media, El-Aissami, who is also a Minister of Petroleum, also reported about his visit and posted videos exchanging with the workers.
On February 7, President Nicolas Maduro approved the collective bargaining agreement of PEQUIVEN’s working class, as part of the 3rd National Meeting of the Productive Councils of Workers.
This moment marked the beginning of new working strategies for this important national sector, one of the hardest hit by the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States.
PEQUIVEN is the Venezuelan State Corporation in charge of producing and marketing fundamental petrochemical products with priority to the domestic market and with export capacity.
