In an interview granted to Prensa Latina, Moussawi reaffirmed the political, ideological and security commitment with the Palestinian people in the face of crimes and attacks by Israel.

Moussawi stressed that one cannot be an Arab and abandon the Palestinian struggle, and demanded greater efforts to combat the Zionist occupation and restore Palestine’s right to freedom.

During the interview, the leader of the Party of God stressed that as long as the Palestinian cause has no solution, there will be no possibility of achieving peace in the region.

Moussawi described Israel as an occupying, usurping and illegal entity that replaced the original population of Palestine with other ethnic groups.

Regarding this, he commented to Prensa Latina that the position of the Resistance is not directed against the Jews, it rather responds to a conviction of fighting against the Israeli occupation.

He also condemned the murder of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh and Tel Aviv’s refusal to conduct an investigation into this deliberate crime, and denounced how a part of the world insists on judging Hezbollah for its position on Israel, and said relations with the so-called nations of the axis of liberation such as Russia, China and Latin America, which includes Cuba.
