Dedicated to promoting alliances between the different actors of the territory’s economy, the event hosted business rounds, product presentations, conferences and scientific panels among the nearly 300 participants gathered at the ExpoHolguín fair and exhibition site.
The activities of the program also facilitated the exchange between the socialist state company, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), non-agricultural cooperatives, self-employed workers and academia.
In this sense, Yunia Pérez, deputy governor of Holguín, highlighted that during the three days of sessions the new economic actors of the territory and their proposals were promoted, focused on promoting the development of the province from the communities.
At the closing, the Cobransa mipyme was recognized with the Local Development Impact award, which has about 20 approved activities that include parcel transportation, bookkeeping, accounting management services, among others.
Likewise, this medium-sized company promoted the employment relationship of 28 people and the contract with almost 100 clients and suppliers, which allow the productive chain and welcome trained people from the University of Holguín, through the link established with that academic institution.
While the territorial division of Xetid in the province, the delegation of the Banco de Crédito y Comercio and the export entity Alcona received awards in the categories of Business Innovation, Image and Communication and Production Chain, respectively.
For its part, the design of the Saratoga hotel, located in the center of the Holguin city, executed by the Holguín Engineering and Design company, Vértice, was deserving of the award dedicated to Product Quality.
The Local Development Fair, convened by the Government of the host territory, was sponsored by the Holguín-Las Tunas delegation of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Social Communicators.
