Cabrisas is on an official visit to this capital in the context of the 18th Session of the Cuba-Iran Intergovernmental Commission.
Both expressed the firm political will of their respective governments to confront the coercive measures imposed by the White House unilaterally and illegally against their peoples, the effects of which are more criminal in the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Likewise, they reviewed the excellent state of relations, confirmed the high level of political dialogue and agreed on the need to advance in the development and deepening of economic, commercial, financial and cooperation ties.
According to a diplomatic note, the visitor conveyed to the host an affectionate greeting from President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
Participating in the meeting on the Cuban side were the Minister of Energy and Mines, Liván Arronte, the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Emilio Lozada, and the ambassador here, Alberto González.
On the Iranian side, the Minister of Health and Medical Education, Bahram Einollahi, co-chairman of the Cuba-Iran Intergovernmental Commission and other officials from that ministry and from Foreign Affairs.
