According to the newspaper, it is currently rare that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) participates in raids carried out by the military forces against the Palestinians in that occupied territory.
The new strategy would use IAF aircraft to support forces on the ground, it said.
Channel 12 reported that the aim is to use the aircraft in operations in and around Jenin, although it acknowledged that using such devices in heavily populated areas will not be easy.
Tel Aviv authorities and security forces consider Jenin is a stronghold of the Palestinian militias.
