Cotton, syringes, surgical gloves, adhesive strips, bandages for fractures and medicines, among other resources, are part of the aid destined for the Calixto García hospital, where most of the victims of the accident that took place on May 6th in the Cuban capital, with a balance of 45 dead and almost a hundred injured.
Cuban solidarity associations joined forces to acquire the donation, which they described as a modest contribution to the care of those injured in the tragedy.
Regarding the shipment, they ratified their solidarity with Cuba, their condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives and their encouragement to the injured.
They also expressed their recognition of the response of the authorities and the people, in particular the tireless work of the rescuers and health personnel.
