Popescu will lead the Moldovan delegation to this meeting that will take place from May 12 to 14 in the German city of Weissenhaus, the website of the Foreign Ministry of the small European country highlighted on Wednesday.
The note specifies that it is the first time that Moldova participates in this type of event.
According to the text, on the sidelines of the summit Popescu will deliver a speech on the security situation in the region in the context of the conflict in Ukraine, as well as the process of reform and modernization of his country.
In addition, he plans to hold separate meetings with the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, as well as with those responsible for foreign affairs from Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Ukraine (the latter also invited), among others.
