In that district, the founder of the Workers’ Party (PT) will end his three-day tour, which included visits to Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais, and Coragem city, where he said on Tuesday that to govern the country is necessary to think of the working people.
He repeated something he said on Saturday during the presentation of the “Vamos Juntos por Brasil” movement: “governing is only possible if you put your heart into it…. It is not a matter of accounting, of looking at income and expenditure figures. In fact, we have a social debt with 215 million Brazilians who need to live with dignity,” he added.
The “Vamos Juntos por Brasil” coalition brings together seven parties, all united in a single cause, that is to defeat ultra-right President Jair Bolsonaro in the polls, along with trade union and social movements.
Regarding the visit to Juiz do Fora, collaborators of the former governor were warned that Bolsonaro’s supporters would be staging a protest during Lula’s visit to the city, Metropoles news portal reported.
After the alert, the PT leader’s campaign decided to redouble its security and changed the place where Lula will participate in a political act.
