“We will take everything that Russia has in Ukraine and use it to strengthen the Army, support the people and restore our country,” the chief executive wrote on his Telegram channel.
He further noted that Kiev continues to work with Western partners to secure the transfer of Russian funds frozen abroad to the Ukrainian authorities.
The Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, described as “theft” the initiative of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, to transfer Russia’s frozen assets to Ukraine.
“You can say that it is a robbery that they do not even attempt to hide,” said the Russian foreign minister during a press conference after visiting Algiers.
